Sara F. Hathaway
Sara F. Hathaway graduated with honors from the California State University of Sacramento with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management. She started her career in the retail world managing a smoothie shop called Jamba Juice. She developed management systems that turned her store into the top training store for managers in the region.
A State Farm Insurance Agent noticed her talents and hired her as his marketing director and office manager. After receiving her licenses to sell home, auto, and life insurance, she single handedly managed his busy office for four years. Her efforts caught the eye of State Farm’s executive managers. She was invited to many inner circle training experiences.
After realizing her passion did not revolve around insurance sales she quit her day job and published her novel, Day After Disaster, in June 2014. The novel was a culmination of Sara’s youthful experiences, growing up in the country, her love of the outdoors and her knowledge of survival concepts. Upon publishing her novel, she was launched into a highly competitive publishing world. She quickly realized that the business experiences she had developed during her time in the retail world would be essential to excel in the publishing world. She has built a solid online presence and learned many new marketing techniques along the way. The Changing Earth series has grown into a full educational program that combines survival facts and fiction to educate the public about survival.
