Cole Virgis was in the air when the Great Quake hit, and by the time he landed, the country he served was gone.
Cole is a private defense contractor who keeps his Arizona home stocked for emergencies. After the quake, his boss, Dwayne McClintock, puts Cole’s team to work moving people who lost their homes into FEMA camps. As these Americans become second-class citizens, a bold young rebel named Cassidy Baker seeks Cole out, and he quietly agrees to help her.
