The biggest threat to the human diet is sugar and high carbohydrate foods. Humans have relied on meat as a critical source of nutrition for thousands of years. Unhealthy cooking methods can indeed negate the benefits of this superfood. Plan on eating meat in any survival situation, it is essential for proper nutrition.

Evolution has designed human bodies into those of meat-eaters. Our bodies have adapted over time to be those of an omnivore. For one point five million years, humans have grown strong on meat. Herbivores have different digestives systems than meat-eaters. They have long digestive systems and specially designed organs to process plant material and obtain the nutrients from the plants. Humans do not possess these things.

Proteins from meat are the best proteins for the human body. Only animal proteins have all types of amino acids required by the body. Plants don't have this, and the amino acids in plants are not readily digestible. Without meat, it is hard to develop muscle mass and stamina. Meat improves testosterone levels and maintains proper energy levels.

Meat is an essential source of many vitamins and nutrients. B12, jB3, B6, Selenium, Zinc, Iron, and other minerals. Meat is the sole source of vitamin B12 and vegetarians will have to supplement this essential vitamin.

Grass-fed, naturally raised meat is the best source of these nutrients. Meat alone contains Omega 3 fatty acids with DHA and EPA. Omega 3 from plants is ALA, which is inefficiently digested by the human body.

No veggie in the world can match the nutrients found in meat. Creatine, found in meat, manages energy in the brain and muscles. Carnosine, found in meat, is a powerful antioxidant that prevents inflammation and purifies free radicals. The iron in meat is essential for hemoglobin and myoglobin production. Vegetables have non-heme iron that is not easily absorbed or used by the body. Meat is also a great source of vitamin D, which prevents osteoporosis.

Meat protein is good for weight loss. Losing weight on purpose may not be the biggest concern in a survival situation. However, calorie-rich diets are what increases fat reserves. Meatless eating habits are less filling and satisfying. Vegetarians often eat many more calories than necessary to fill the void. Meat is satisfactory and provides lasting energy reserves. Amino acids in meat stimulate cells in the brain that control energy and wakefulness.

Meat does not cause diabetes, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. Scientists blamed saturated fat for these illnesses in the past. Later, scientists discovered this information was false. Processed meat with high fat additions may cause cancer, but the processing cycle is to blame, not the meat.

A no-meat diet is unhealthy. Avoiding meat does more harm to the body than good. Vegan theories are not based on scientific studies or the natural biological condition. Vegans also experience higher stress levels because of the constant worry of obtaining proper nutrition. This continuous stress if often reflected in many other aspects of life.

It is easy to build muscle and maintain health with a meat diet. Your efforts in the gym are realized best by fortifying your body with meat proteins rather than alternatives, which may have long-lasting adverse side effects. Zinc boosts muscle growth and immune system health. The creatine improves protein synthesis in the body, provides muscles with lots of energy, increases fat burning, and aids in lean muscle growth. Even the digestion of meat burns thirty percent of the calories ingested during the meal.

Meat diets improve neurotransmitter health. Amino acids from meat improve brain function and regulate cognition. Reasoning, memory, emotion regulation, physical commands, and so many more functions of the body are also improved. Vegetarians are more prone to depression, digestive disorders, anxiety, and mood swings.

Meat is yummy and adds variety to your diet. Variety is the spice of life. There are so many healthy cooking options available that one can never tire of eating meat.

Many concerns are facing our global meat supply today. These threats began before anyone even heard of the Corona Virus. An African Swine Fever wiped out millions of pigs in China and then spread to more than forty countries after that. The H1N1 Swine Flu hit pork populations hard, and people can transmit this disease. The H5N1 Bird Flu in China also hit Asia hard. China culled thousands of chickens to try and stop the spread. Then the H5N8 Bird Flu made an appearance in Germany.

The Corona Virus has been a significant problem for meat supply. Global supply chain disruptions left millions of cargo containers rotting in the ocean while quarantines were mandated. Smithfield closed plants in Sioux Falls South Dakota, which provides four to five percent of the pork to the United States. The government insisted workers were to stay home, and production slowed further. JBS USA closed its beef plant in Souderton Pennsylvania and reduced output in Greeley Colorado. Cargill and Tyson's foods shut down pants in Pennsylvania and Iowa.

Farmers have nowhere to send their animals for processing and shipping, and the USDA is suggesting euthanization without distribution. Refrigeration units are the primary way to store meat which limits stocking capacity. The government took all these steps without any evidence that humans can contract Covid through food or food packing processes.

There is hope for the future of meat supply, and it focuses on local production. Find out if there is some way you can assist your local ranchers. Buy local, so the ranchers have an outlet for their products. Encourage the USDA to start sending inspectors to smaller butcher shops so they can pick up the slack the large manufactures can't fulfill right now. Be a supporter of sustainable, organic meat products produced on a local level without the reliance upon these huge facilities.

Eating meat is essential for human survival. Any disaster plans should consider the need for meat in the diet. Learn healthy cooking methods to maintain the nutritional values of meat. If you are capable of producing your own, do it. If that is not your thing, support the local people who are doing it. The only way to secure our long-term meat supply is to realize its value and protect it with our support.
