Here is the world of The Changing Earth, where floodwaters have swalled the coasts and the great Ogallala Lake splits the country in two. The land is divided into the regions the story moves through, from the Native Lands and the Badlands in the west to the Central Region, home of the New Capital and the Appalachians in the east.

The Changing Earth has 11 books. The main story runs through nine of them, numbered 1-8, with The Lost Vegas Years as Book 1.5. Two optional side reads, Virgis and Swenson, tell the story from other points of view, and each one fits at a set place in the order.
Amazon numbers the books a little differently, so you may see Without Land listed as Book 3 of 9. Follow the order on this page and you will be on the right track.
